Creating a strong social media presence is more important than ever, but sometimes it can feel like all the tasks associated with it are taking up way too much of your time. As a brand, you’re not just scrolling through Instagram to see what your friend on the East Coast is up to, you’re strategizing and posting based on your goals. You’re creating quality content, writing engaging captions, and engaging with your ideal customers on a daily basis, but you’re also trying to have a life outside of social media. We can help in that area.

Today we’re sharing 3 time-saving hacks for managing your brand on social media!

#1: Write out product releases, events, or social holidays on the calendar first.

One of the first things we do to build out our clients’ content calendars is to outline their upcoming events, new product launches, etc over the next three months. This information is crucial to their social strategy since we create special content for these events. Once we outline their events, we incorporate them into the correct “content bucket”. Examples of content buckets include quotes, core values, user-generated content, promotions, etc.

#2: Schedule time for engagement/actually block time on the calendar.

While Instagram and Facebook may feel like “pay to play” platforms these days, it’s still important to drive organic engagement, and one of the best ways to do this is by engaging with your audience each day. Before you start stressing about working this time into your calendar, a dedicated 20 minutes each day will do just the trick. You don’t have to spend hours every day engaging online for it to make a difference in your growth.

#3: Create hashtag groups to rotate through for each type of post.

We all know that hashtags are one of the best ways to get new eyes on your content, but manually typing in and changing them up for each type of post can be a bit much. One of our favorite tricks for accomplishing this is to use the "Saved Captions” feature inside Later.
